how about getting some darker material stuck to the inside face vinyl wrap or similar ? |

Or just buy a solid black screen from dealer stock if there are any left. I replaced the brittle kick ash bits on my City X for plain black XB12 bits.  Lightning 9 badge was extra of course.

Lightning 9 badge was extra of course. i still would prefer slightly darker and transparent,problem being when the sun shines on that screen it shows up the ugly wiring behind it. |

Tie the wiring into a pretty bow!  You can paint the fugly horizontal angle tin bit matt black. I did have two HB rubber cartoon figures behind my screen at one point; a Tazmanian Devil, and Bugs Bunny with a club, both looking menacing! Added to the interest when people drew near.
