It appears a deal was struck with this new owner in order to provide parts for current owners of EBR products. Seems odd to start building full bikes again when there's no dealer and service support at the local level. I don't see this going well as the tech not offered on the 1190 is being offered by everyone else for 1/3 the price. And now that Ducati have gone V4, there's a whole slew of used 1299s that I'd rather have if I want a hi-performance twin. And KTM has the stellar 1290 SuperDukeR for a naked. |
