Thanks for that. I always thought that both came on for main beam, just goes to show how much attention I paid to it
Flash still not working but I can live without it.

Just been out for a we thrash on the XB - whilst doing the checks before I went I found that the headlights weren't working right, when I switch to main beam the dip goes off and the main comes on, but not both. The headlight 'flash' doesn't work either. Any ideas on how to test and fix? Thanks. |

You only get one headlight at a time. My flash wasn't working but after I turned off ignition and turned on again it worked fine? There is an easy mode to do (swap two connectors) which gives you both lights on for hi-beam - http://www.buellxb.com/Buell-XB-Forum/D ... -w-Hi-Beam 5 minute job. |
