Just bought one, haven't got a damper yet but this looked too good to miss.

No, It's not a word I know, I think you might've been thinking about Nirvana.

I'll simply be purchasing a cheap Chinese adjustable damper that costs around £30ish & bolt it to my £9 clamp, that'll be more than adequate for my A/B Road blasting.

What I'm doing is buying what I can afford & will do the job adequately for my A/B road riding like I already said.
I also think that making out my life depends on the cheap steering damper may be a little melodramatic to be perfectly honest and having a cheap one in place is definitely better than not having one at all. Believe it or not, I will also be using stainless bolts to hold it in place. Now that is living on the edge.

All the best folks.

Yeah,
The front end felt a little vague before I sorned for a month for maintenance, I was meant to do the front tyre & change the fork oil but haven't managed to yet (pulled a load of muscles doing the rear tyre last week). May well sort out the vagueness when they're both done.
I think really though with the steering damper, when it comes down to it, I would just feel better having one, rather than not.
