Hi, has anybody fitted the carbon kevlar frame covers that I have seen on ebay ? if so what is the fit like ?, I like the look of them and I guess they would give a little protection against scratches.

Thanks in advance
barney

they are normally there to hide crash damage , when the bikes been dropped the impact of being dropped would put a dent in the frame/fuel tank (rather than just scratches ) & then dependant on the "engineers inspection"
from insurance they can write them off , through ignorance ... :sad1:
if i remember they're a stick on item , can't be sure if it's just mastic holding them on
you could just stick on some carbon look vinyl if you only want the look , would be cheaper .

Thanks for the reply Nutah,
Not keen on Vinyl, we have a lot of graphics done on our exhibition units at work, soon go to look tatty and wouldn't wear very well where your knees go.
If they are a good fit I would have the carbon fibre ones and stick them on

Thanks for the reply
