My manual for my M2 cyclone states that the petrol capacity is 18.93ltrs including reserve which is 2.2ltrs. Thinking that my economy was crap as the bike ran onto reserve after about 110 miles, I drained the tank from reserve and it yielded 4.4ltrs, almost twice what the manual states. Anyone able to confirm this.

It doesn't really matter how fuel it holds in reserve as long as you know ;) , with it being a carb model it will be the length of the tube on the fuel tap that governs what is left ;)

I'm guessing that must be the lardy M2. On my skinny one I was lucky to get to a fuel station if it went on reserve. I used to go by the trip meter, 110 miles then panic.

:yt:about 100 miles then refuel  , also depends on the type of roads you have just been on and how energetically you have ridden them as to how much fuel you have left, we are all getting older and these Buell aren’t getting any lighter to push if you run out of fuel .
