Re: New Buells anyone?
A nice thought but last time round EBR started up in the US in 2010 and it was 2014 before they were available in Europe. The current offerings are basically the same bikes we had in the UK in 2014 and don't meet current UK and European registration requirements principally because they're not equipped with ABS.
I wish the new Buell Motorcycles (which is just a name change for the EBR which LAP purchased from the liquidators) all the very best and hope to see them grow into a strong international company producing new models to sell throughout the world and supporting owners of the earlier generation Buells but I fear that this will be a very long wait.
Of course they're also now operating without Erik who, for me at least, was always a strong attraction for the brand.
Prove me wrong, Buell Motorcycles - Never Quit!!

Just had a watch of a You Tube thing with the 'new' Buell adventure bike. Ye gods, it's feckin minging
Surely they don't expect that to sell? I so want to love everything that has Buell on it but I think they are very much missing Erik.
I'm almost lost for words. Almost

Agreed, but compared to America's other Adventure bike, the HD Pan America, it is a work of art! Personally I don't like either, there is no excuse for any bike to be ugly - and that's what they both look to me. Dare to be different, sure, but that doesn't have be pointlessly weird.
But good luck to Buell, in whatever guise, with or without Erik - the world needs people and companies prepared to carve their own groove.
