So... XB12s 08 and I've checked / replaced most of the common problem stuff; wheel bearings, rear rocker gasket, manifold seals among other things. Only other thing I'm aware of is the fuel pump failure gets reported a fair bit so was wondering whether I should fit one of the repair/replace kits available next time I'm bored, rather than wait for it to fail or even just the strainer which lets face it, probably hasn't ever been changed.

any opinions on the 08 on fuel pump reliability in particular?

I renewed my fuel pump with one of theirs when mine died
it had ingested the T bag filter

but in fairness it was on a 2001 Buell
so may be worth renewing it as preemptive
