Drove from Wales to a funeral in Brighton so packed the s1 in the van and stayed with a mate.
Next day I went to get fuel just up the road and came back and rode down his drive and something rattled around my front tyre and mudguard and stuck in my rear tyre, the bottom half moon plate used to fit a kitchen tap.
Two slash type punctures right in the middle.
Puncture kit didn`t work as the holes were about 1/2" long each.
New tyre fecked.
Wheel out and over to K C Motor cycles in Portslade for a new tyre in an hour.
So was about 2 miles on the new tyre before it was Knackered
Even Gus must get more miles per tyre at Santa Pod
