Post subject:  Lock plate and spring on clutch adjuster
Hi guys! Just been adjusting the clutch cable on my buell xb12 only to discover the spring inside is broken in two and is separated from the locking plate.could anyone point me in the right direction to find a replacement and would I need a new lock plate and spring?

If there is a hardware store close by were you live you could take the left over spring there and maybe they have one comparable that can do the job!?

I have a drawer full with used springs ,so i could have a look
But im living in Holland ,so if i have something that would fit i have to send it by post to you!

The tube frame buells have this same spring ,so maybe the hd sportster is the same!
Could be a option in searching for a replacement

Thanks for your help; v twin want €1.70 for the spring and €28 for delivery :shock: il try the other ideas you had,and if no luck I might give you a shout👍
