Has anybody fitted a bagster tank cover to a XB12X airbox cover.I've just bought one and it came with no fitting instructions there are two straps at the front with hooks on and i'm not sure where they are suposed to locate. This applies to the rear straps as well.Kind regards :?:

It's the same cover for both bikes; all XB's and the 1125.
Take the two front air box cover torx's out, remove the seat another two torx's, remove the after air box torx's. Bagster cover comes with a strap that fits over your inner air box cover and one that goes round the head stock. Make sure the head stock strap is not in the way of any cables, etc. Do it all up nice and tight and make sure you cable tie or cut any loose strapping out of the way in the head stock area. Buy a sensible sized bag to fit, small expandable is better.
Take the cover off every now and again and clean the air box cover, you'll be amazed how much crud can accumulate between the two.

Sorry it's taken a little while to reply been away.I tried the the straps around the headstock but didn't like it so i opened up the hooks a bit and hooked them under the frame the right hand side locates better than the left side but i toured around Scotland the other week with a tank bag on and had no problems.
