Post subject: Harley have KILLED Buell
PostPosted: 16 Oct 2009 00:31
2 weeks ago Harley announced a new Buell logo

Today Harley announced that it is axing Buell

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/uptospe ... brand.html

They are going to sell MV after only ~ 1 year

But Buell won't be sold as it was "too integrated into the brand"

Check out the message from Eric on the Buell website - he looks like he is going to burst into tears

http://www.buell.com/en_uk/

I moved away from a Harley for a Buell - I ain't going back ... ever!! :ffs:

What a shock; I learnt to ride a motorbike to ride a Buell. I'm too old to learn to ride another bike! I just hope my Buell lasts me out.
Anyone thought about any parts we should grab?

Roger

Having just brought a new Buell last month I'm shocked by the news, would I have brought one this month if I had known, I don't know. Lets hope that the interest in these bikes still stays strong so we the owners don't suffer in the lack of parts etc. to keep these machines on the road.
Certainly a sad day in Buell history

Truly sad news. Just another case of corporate thinking. Everything goes to the bottom line.
RMHD in Colorado never really wrapped their arms around the Buell. Won't be visiting the HD store any more!
But, I'll still be on my 'Bolt every chance I get.

jammer :( :o
