Yep. Road Pilot 2s for me. 5k now, perfect profile and 2k plus left on them. The best tyre I have ever had. They are also VERY temp stable, no grip probs, as near good in the wet as dry and my rear tyre is right on the edge. I can not fault them in any way on the Uly.

They must be the 2s not the old version though and they cost a bit more than most tyres.

My Diablos were near shot at 3k.

I had Michelin PIlot Road 2 on my XB12s, grip was fine for me and they felt good, nice progressive turn in with little effort. But oddly when I had first had them the bike was a little unstable in a straight line around 75-80 mph. This wore off after about 500 miles.

I have Pirellis on my XB12ss and cannot fault the handling and grip but they are wearing faster than the Michelins.

This a point in case. You will get near twice the miles from the 2s and I found the 2s as good if not better than the Diabs for normal road work.

But here is something many do not take into account with a Buell. The wheels, unless you DIY or get a good dealer to do it, need to be re-fitted right. You could end up needing bearings, belt, etc if a numpty tyre firm does not do it right. I know as it happend to me on the way to a trip to Germany.
