Anyone down here within 100miles of Hatfield with a Cyclone I can look at? It suddenly occurred to me that this might be a viable "up" from the Blast.

Cheers in advance :)

Sarah :P

Hi Sarah -

I have a 2001 M2 - happy to pop down Hatfield Way sometime and expound the virtues of what IMO is a very under rated bike.

cheers

Try an X1 Sarah they have a very narrow seat so are relatively easy to reach the floor.........very nice bikes to ride and there is a lot of female X1 owners about...and if you can, buy a 2001 model ;)

I've got a Corbin seat on my X1 and Mrs Adam finds it much easier to ride than 'her' XBSs. Not that I let her ride it much because it's the best bike I've EVER owned 8-) :D

Forgot to add, she's 5'4'' :D

Just found my manual and it gives the X1 seat height as 31inch / 78.7cm not sure how that compares to M2's and xb's but like i said the seat is very narrow on the X1 but comfy enough for 500+ miles a day.
They did do an M2low as well but have never come across one ;)

love my M2 specially since i did some performance enhancements - mikuni and sticky new bridgstones oh and new ear plugs to block out the mechanical pain of an old evo motor :D

you can get a shorter shock to lower the seat height saw one one ebay recently from the M2 low - guess hardley solventson would sell you one or you might be able to get a custom one as the factory ones are crap - FTF

You don't need to spring for the price of a Corbin, there's loads of places where you can get your seat - sorry, your bike's seat re-stuffed. If you spec better quality padding, you will probably get more comfort at the same time.

I think Tubbs can get top quality upholstery done with Gel padding.
