For anyone interested in getting an X1 Lightning. Just paid a social visit to my local bike shop, they have a 51 reg X1 for sale, 14,000 miles, Red, PM wheels, looks like a Scorpion can, latest recall Showa shock and a oil catch can. The bike looks very clean, may not have seen any winters. The shop is small, friendly and only has secondhand bikes, tel. 01670513057, www.morpethmotorcycles.co.uk.
The website only shows a Thunderbolt, didn't see that in the shop, the X1 isn't listed on the website.

I looked at it a few weeks ago when I went home to ESHINTON, the S3 weren't in then but it did look like a tidy bike even if the belt looked mega tight
