Using the PAZZO website I have compiled a list of bikes of various makes that appear to share front brake and clutch levers with the 1125R/CR - I have used the Pazzo part numbers as a guide so there is no guarantee that original parts from other manufacturers will fit and I accept no responsibility - you use this list at your own risk !

Now if somebody wants to do the same for the rest of the Buell models, please feel free to do so ...

I will be looking, eventually - but all my money is spoken for until the new year ...

I'm hoping that the levers will be pretty generic - surely other manufacturers will buy parts in - the same as Buell ...

Well - the levers are fitted, went on without a hitch. There is only 4 point adjustment on them though ( there's 5 on the Buell levers ) but they seem OK and work with no binding - need to take them out for a test drive but the weather was not condusive today and didn't want to risk it !

Yamaha FZS600 Fazer 02-03 front brake lever fits an 07 XB12Scg.

I know this as I used to have a fazer, and when I dropped it last year turning in a layby I rode home thought it looked the same. About £13 on ebay

Post subject:  Re: Levers compatability

Well I am please to report that the levers I fitted got me to work OK ! 8-) So it was only an 8 mile journey but it was in stop/go traffic and the roads were really wet and the levers were no trouble at all.

If anything I actually prefer the clutch lever as the lever blade has a narrower profile and matches the brake lever better than the original - if you compare the Buell brake and clutch levers then you will see that they are both different.

So all in all, at an all in cost of about £17 from Ebay it is definitely worth it. although I am wondering how long they will last - the build quality is OK but not perfect. But IIRC the official Buell clutch lever alone is about £60, so that would pay for a few sets ...

... so now I will be scouring EBay for Pazzo Kawasaki levers - should be able to pick up a set second hand at a reasonable price now that I know which ones to look for. ;)

But I will report on them long term and if there are any issues then I will post them up.

Just to go off topic a bit - anybody ever fitted PAZZO or any other short levers on a Tuber?

Down :maz:

Yes. I fitted short Pazzo's to the M2 and I have short CRG's on the X1. Big improvement I thought.

Urgently need to know what other make/ after market clutch lever fits an XB12S (2006) :!: :P

Post subject:  Re: Levers compatability

Sorry Bonzo, looking at the PAZZO compatibility guide, it looks as if the Buell clutch lever is unique.

That's assuming that F21 is the brake lever and B55 is the clutch - if it's the other way round then a 99-01 Yamaha R1 or a 07-09 Kawasaki Z750 lever may work.

The genuine Buell clutch lever for my X1 wasn't expensive and it included the perch and clutch switch ;)
