I have received my bar end mirror but realised that I don't have a bar end to attach it to, can only find pairs on the net. Anyone got a spare laying around ... ?! |

Or, if it is not fabricateable from a piece of ally bar, post a pic of what you have so we can see what is missing. I may have somethig kicking around that may help. |

I have actually found one! Its an old Rizoma one left over from my Tuber, its got no bolt with it so I guess a rawbolt will do, how do you stop the bar end moving up and down on the end once the rawbolt is in place, I imagine bolting it hard against the bar will stop the throttle turning (no comments!) |

It should have a shoulder that fits up inside the bar. The throttle tube shouldn't foul the bar end if it's OD is 7/8". Copperslip the pinch bolt and lightly nip it up. |

Sounds straight forward, just have to cut away the hole at the end of the grip (traction grip) |

So, I have given it a go but it wont work. The end of the handlebar is recessed inside the end of the grip. I have cut away the disk in the end but the grip is quite a bit longer than the end of the handlebar, as such the bar end when done up doesn't allow the throttle to twist. I backed it out a bit and tightened the screw but it just flaps about. What's more returning from work today I undid my one remaining mirror so I could push the bike down the alley and that snapped too, now I don't have any mirrors at all Pics attached |

Its using tools to fit something with technical questions, not just chatting about Buells ... and I don't appreciate you moving my post without at least showing the courtesy of sending a PM first asking me to do it myself. |
