well after a few months of having a quill can - it gave up today on the m60 motorway while doin 70ish whilst goin round a slit bend - the end cap came off the bike went on the front wheel for a bref moment i slowed down and thought that could of been messy, the bike began to sound louder as the stuffing came out - anyway got home and I now have the stock pipe on with out the servo as i took the whole lead out when I put the quill on - quill are pants I look forward to the I told you so posts |

Will you be taking it back for a refund or fix? Could have been nasty, you need to bring it to their attention in case another fellow Bueller takes a tumble, which could be fatal. I had to report one of the work chauffeurs for driving dangerously. Didn't want to, but what if one of my colleagues was involved in a potentially fatal accident? |

No Pash the can will be stripped and used for parts as and when i need them - I will bring it to quills attention face to face as their only down the east lancs from me- the can its self though was a one off ie stainless inner with a cosmetic carbon outer. it could of ended messy ive never been on the front wheel only before the rear yeh a few times. think quill need to either take the can off the market or redesign their fittings |

i know jim the ower well enough to listen to me if he takes it on board is a different matter - his son is the c#ck and only in it for the coin - shame really. dont think trading standards would as the can does not come with a warranty - which at the time i did not know about |

no not really - the can needs to be welded rather than have rivets though it and made longer so the oe rear hanger can be used. |
