Was out on the weekend and finally had some dry roads, Was practicing some wheelies and generally playing with the bike for the first time, now the weather has allowed me I cant get the suspension stiff enough ? my old bike '08' ZX6-R was very hard from the factory and i had to soften it a touch, but the Buell still seems a bit soft with everything set to max ? How should the 1125 be ? Will use the handbook and set it up for my weight next ride out, but im sure it's going to be great for soaking up the bumps, not so good for spirted riding. Any suggestions welcomed please |

I weight less than 13 stone ! I can bottom out my forks with a sharpe pull on the front brake, and the rear is not much better ? Starting to think something may be wrong now |

Starting to think something may be wrong now If I were you I'd RTFM and set up the suspension on the harder side of the recommended settings for a rider of your weight, where did your bike come from? DG20 set mine up at Pdi for my weight...... |

Got the bike from Silverstone HD. What does RTFM mean please ? I will set the suspension up using the guide in the book and sportsterman's link too. Just a bit harder than suggested. |

RTFM is a technical term, someone will be along shortly with much more expertise than myself to explain it! |

My CR was set up by the dealer prior to me picking it up, however the manual does go in to considerable detail on how to set up your bike, as I'm on my third Buell now and had the distinct pleasure of having Yoffi set my bike up for on more than one occasion I am comfortable in now fiddling with the suspension with the manual by my side. I'm sure there is a seasoned Buell owner not far from you that would happily assist you with you settings......... |

Lol, The Flying Dutchman, who rattled your cage........... Twat is a word we use all day whilst on site passing the time, its unoffensive. Just didn't like the tone JBR was on, seemed to be digging at me like i'm a young cocky teenager. But like adults were just taking the piss out of each other. So would be nice to meet up with a fellow bueller, and fuck you, no need to be rude |
