Has anyone got the Buell heated grips and if so what do you think of them?
I can get the Hein Gericke ones for just over £50 which I have used before and found them to be fine however the Buell ones come with new switchgear for the bars so you don't have an additional switch.
I can get the Buell ones for just under £100 from the States.

Get me a pair too please (for my 1125r).

I have them on my Firebolt and I think they rock. The switchgear is neat and the grips are nice and comfy.

I had tried some Oxford ones before and they were really cheap and tacky, I don't know how anyone puts up with them....

It may pay you to call a few dealers and see if they have any on sale - I'm sure that Ursus posted that dealers were offered Buell accessories at a discount to clear the warehouse ...

So some cheap gearbox wenslydale please. Maybe even some Ilchester - I prefer firm cheese.

If we're sorting out some bulk order, I've got family-in-law-to-be in the states who are coming over at the beginning of December (for my wedding). As long as the packages aren't too big I could arrange for them to be brought over as hold luggage? Save on postage and all that customs malarkey

Def go for buell ones, worth the extra cash, very neat job and dead easy to fit. Well recommended

Oh good - glad they're easy to fit - just got my Buell set from the states. Package size means you could fit a fair few sets into hold luggage I'd have thought. Was going to fit them last weekend but have ordered HID light conversion so thought I'd do both at the same time - there's a weekend gone!

Try these, been using them on my bikes for years, cost effective (cheapish ;) ) and you keep the original grips :D

Id recommend the buell heated grips, got them on my XT, settings are hot and hotter, need to turn them off every now and again for your hands to cool down a bit

they'll cost about £90 at Chicago Harley Davidson, but you will have to factor in duty, VAT and Parcelforce's pound of flesh !

Or £175.26 at Jersey Harley Davidson.
