No, never tried it !

If you're planning on putting it on the frame of an XB/1125 make sure it'll stick. I put some StompGrip on my 1125 and it peeled off. Even the importer says that racers he's supplied can't get to stick on the 1125 frame

BTW, if you've not tried StompGrip, it's brilliant stuff. You can take a lot of pressure off your arms and shoulders under heavy braking by gripping with your knees and finish a good thrashing session a lot fresher than if you've not got it

Isn't this the same stuff as used to protect mobile phones etc ? if so it is very strong and easy to apply and is virtually invisible.

had that put on my RS4 front bumper/bonnet and rear aches to protect stone chips, it great and if professionally applied comes with a 5 year guarantee!

it's what started my whole idea of wrapping my 1125r instead of painting.

yes i think its the same product - thinking about putting it on my 1125 as its black and will soon start to show marks where ive washed it etc . will let you know how i get on .

For the frame on my 1125 I used clear self adhesive film, ok it dose not grip to your knees but protects the frame in that area against wear. Cheap simple and works.
