......for the 1st time today ( had it since early Dec. :? )

Only did 60 odd miles cos I got bored.......I hate running bikes in, varied city, twisty and a very short M/way stint.

Mirrors are crap.
Toe pegs are too short.
IC misted up even though the bike has never seen rain etc.
Belt is massively too tight.... the vibes/noise on overrun is quite un-nerving and can be felt through the pegs :x

Snot a bad bike and will hopefully be much better when run in but it aint a real Buell is it.

I think the noise on the over run sounds like a supercharger - well its more of a buell than a xb :D

There were a fair few 1125s at the Hendon meet today, and I think every 2010 CR instrument cluster had condensation on the inside - and there were at least 5 there. And a few earlier builds were the same - so they never did fix the problem.

[quote="Maz"]Why ?/quote]

i liked my xb mine was the model that attracted me to the brand and i was sad when it died, but the 1125's are more of a bike hence more of a buell

Mine hasn't shown any sign of misting so far and it has seen quite a bit of rain and also been washed with the hose when cleaning the bike..............maybe i'm one of the lucky ones with this? Bikes now done about 750 miles :D Definitely hasn't got the characature of a tuber though ;)

Thought toe pegs were too short at first but seem fine when I got used to them, gearchange is much lighter and just needs a snick. Agree about mirrors, looks like people waving sparklers following you cos they vibrate so much. Can't believe that the ICs still steam up after a few years of development. is a fun bike tho and Jonnyboyrebel's sounds so much better with a decent pipe on. Two white ones at Hendon today...common as muck.

Jardine RT-5 gentleman, less than £300, took about 20 min to swap for the rust infested piece of sh*t that's fitted as standard. You'll need understanding neighbours though!

Maz, when it's run in properly and had its run in service etc you'll be able to give it the bigun, blurry stuff in your mirrors when running in is nothing, when you take it past 8000rpm everything around you goes blurry!!

Hi Maz, really pleased you managed to get out on the bike! :yup:
First ride since I got mine in Early Dec was last Thursday, I rode it to work, then a decent ride today, my clock misted as did everyone elses  on the way down to Ace and Hendon. Still, i guess it won't do this when the weather really does warm up proper!.
The Belts do slacken by the second service and the noise etc on over run and general gearbox noises get a lot quieter.
Anyway, we can over look all that because...... it's WHITE! :worthy:

Hope to see you sometime soon

Does the belt stretch or the gearbox output bearing wear?
