Try reversing the way your new indicators wires are connected. |

First, have just one set of LED installed (front or rear) and keep the other set stock, with the stock relay. There should be enough draw from the stock units to make the stock relay work correctly, and to run the LED's properly without fast blinking. Then try the reverse. If both work, then you know your wiring setup is good, and it would then probably be the relay. Another option is to install resistors in the LED wiring, and use the stock relay, which will be triggered by the draw from the resistors. Can't recall the proper rating for the resistors, though - search here or badweb. Although I have heard the LED relay can be found as a fairly common item, the plug-n-play US$20 relay from ASB seems to work every time. |

The reason they flash fast is not due to any wiring problem. If they flash fast, you are ok with the wiring. The fast flash is due to lower draw by the LED's than regular bulbs on the flasher system. The OEM relay makes them blink fast. So it sounds like the LED flasher relay you have isn't working right. With OEM relay in and both sets of LED's installed, do they still flash fast? If so, then your LED relay is definitely not the right piece, or it's a defective one. |

Motorrad wrote: With OEM relay in and both sets of LED's installed, do they still flash fast? no the light just stays on, same as with the led relay but the oem relay makes a buzzing noise. the only time ive had the led's flashing fast is if i connect a oem indicator. |
