I have an XB STT that has the same frame as the SS Long.

I got a new exhaust on warranty. Slightly different from my old standard one in that the old one's outlet pipe curved backwards.

Anyway, fitted it to the bike and when I put the side stand up it hits the outlet port and the end of the stand sits over the port a bit.

I'm thinking maybe the shorter bikes have a shorter side stand? Would fitting one of them make my bike fall over?

Can't really get another exhaust off of the Harley dealer as I've had Tubbs work over this one...

Big thumbs up to Tubbs though, excellent service and the fuelling on the bike is much better than when I had my Termignoni. My ass-dyno says the bike is pulling better - front wheel is coming up more.

Dealer has suplied you with the wrong muffler.......no surprise there then
The taller bikes obviously have longer stands........your bike will fall over if you fit the shorter version.

Thought as much. Took them about 4 months to get that one too.

Oh well, stuck with it now.

Could somebody not rework the exit pipe so that it doesn't foul the stand ? It may need returning to Tubbs.

Maybe. Can't really be assed taking it off again and posting it away etc.

I'll put a bit of rubber on the stand where it is hitting the exhaust so it doesn't damage it. Suppose I'll need something that can stand the heat.
