Hi All, been a while. I've got a buddy who picked up a very clean XB9R motor at a recent autojumble and is looking to put it into a hardtail bobber frame. Has anyone ever successfully run an XB motor on carbs and points rather that FI & ECM? I'm sure I remember this being done somewhere down the line but nothing's coming up on the search. Any thoughts gratefully received as always. |

I think he's trying to avoid the ECM so is looking for other options. Would it run on a Sportster ignition system do you know? How's things anyway? My XB went off to Germany for top dollar back in December so have been neglecting the social side for a while. |
