I cleaned the XB12SX today (for the first time - it's only done 450 miles). It looks good but how do you guys clean the non-shiny bits, like the frame, swing arm, etc? I accidently got some Autoglym on the frame/fuel tank, but wiped it off with a damp cloth. I'm anxious not to bugger it up but I want it to look a bit better. Any suggestions? Fanx. ![]() |

Yes you can use it on your tank cover to polish it or you can spray on and wipe straight off to clean & protect surfaces. I use it around all my controls, switches, mirrors etc. its a good product. |

The toughest bit to clean on my 09 is the engine block itself. The 09s (and I think 10s) have a rough black finish and I've found nothing that can clean it well yet. Cloths are useless on it - they just get eaten by the rough finish. Suggestions? |
