Of the Buell race can with the front inside edge re-cut and welded so the AST shock doesn't clout it ?

Its the shock that gets modded- a bit of the front collar gets filed down ;)

Very true!
Although that might suggest differences/tolerances in header pipes, or possible damage?

It's not on yet :oooops: but after seeing how close it was on a bike i saw at the Cosford meet,it looked like a potential problem :?

My end can needs taking apart anyway as the packing has long gone and just the perforated tube is rattling around in there

That was my bike I BBB and I think it is down to tolerances in the zorst  suggest you try fit your system and see how you get on, you may be OK. Have done about 750 miles now on mine and the clearance is holding position. I am still unhappy with the excessive weight of the can and think that if I have a problem then I would have a can made up with a smaller outer in a lighter material. My feeling is that the sheer weight of the Buell item is a problem in itself as it must put a lot of strain at the front joint to the header pipe because the rear mount is effectively a hinge.
