I was under the impression that all EBR stuff was for the Helicon motor. Personally I wouldn't worry about the popping on over run-I like it If the rideability has changed since going back to the FS system then personally, I would speak nicely to Pash and ask him for some help tuning the stock ECM on a Dyno (I'd reccomend Tubbs as he seems to know a lil!!) Hang on...................................... Ferk orf Ph you dumb ass, use the fookin search function ffs or just do us all a favour and buy something japanese |

Alternatively you could get Tubbs to modify your standard can and paint it with his special goo. My 07 XB didn't fuel right with a Termi can, but runs very well with the Tubbs modded one. |

If it is any help the EBR ECU for the XB also pops back on the overrun with open exhaust, though not as much as the std ECU IMO. The EBR ECU also seems to improve the power delivery above 3800 or so but it does not like to run steady around 3000rpm, with a marked hesitation around this area on partial load as it is mapped specifically for track use. If you are looking for the perfect solution for all occasions it is going to be difficult to find. My advice is to fit the exhaust system you prefer and get your STD ECU remapped to suit your requirements by someone who has the experience and equipment. |

You've been taking pictures of my bike again haven't you? Both Buells's currently have issues so I used the Cub for the 20 mile commute this morning. |

I agree with Peter CR et al. With a standard intake and filter and an aftermarket exhaust, your bike should adjust to the exhaust with a proper closed loop ride (half hour or so at a steady 3000ish rpm should do); with aftermarket intake and exhaust, you will want to re-map the ECM you have, as the bike will not compensate well enough on its own with both modifications. Buy a Honda to keep next to the Buell, and see which one you ride more. |

I was under the impression that Twinmotorcycles software was ripped off from Gunters ECM spy ... |

I think this is because a tubbs mod is not a million miles from the original setup and therefore it doesn't upset the system. tbh although I havn't heard a tubs mod but I have heard other mods and I prefer the sound of my Free Spirits cause it's quite unique! |
