Getting my 1125 serviced next week and been quoted £230 for the service.
What has everyone else been paying?

Thanks.

Fek all for labour because I did it myself. For that kind of money I hope they remove your exhaust and oil strainer. I did it for peace of mind and happily there were no bits of chain tensioner in it 8-)

Whats involved in taking off the exhaust Adam? Is it a long and bloody knuckle job?

From memory, loosen the tensioner pulley bracket and remove the two cap head bolts from the back of the can. Make sure you undo the rear axle and slacken the belt first ;) There's two bolts at the front of the can, the l/h one has a nut that can be tricky unless you've got a suitable swivel head ring spanner (Maz uses a crowsfoot) in which case it's a piece of piss :D
Then there's the two clamps onto the header.

Once the strainer cover is off, use long nose pliers to pull the screen out. Be very careful with the small bolts that hold the cover on when torquing them up, if you over tighten them I think you could easily strip them - use a torque wrench if you're in doubt. I forget the torque value but it ain't very much, nor need it be.

Other than that, use common sense and you'll find it very simple and you will get satisfaction in knowing you're not getting raped at £90 per hour or similar lOl

£230 sounds like an expensive oil change + looksy to me.

About that including supplying and fitting new EBC Double HH pads. The pads weren't cheap.

So I'm thinking this is only the collector box that needs removal then and not the down pipes?

Excuse my ignorance as I've not managed to purchase a manual yet. If so it's a given that this would be well worth doing for the time / complexity involved.

I didn't even ask how much the standard pads were as I didn't like them.
