I did hear from a local hooligan (bikerdude666) that the EBCs lasted longer, but I am happy with Braking.
Std pads started to judder on my bike, and felt vague, cleaning sorted it out every couple of hundred miles but fitted Braking front and rear, judder was gone and brakes have better feel, especially the rear, IMO.
I must admit I have not ridden in the wet so cannot comment on wet performance.
Of course, pad and disc life may be compromised; IMO it is worth it for the increase in confidence the changes have given me.
