is there anything i can use to lubricate the filler cap on my firebolt? its hard to even get the key in the lock, then youve gotta wrestle with it to unlock it, and its equally difficult trying to get the key back out. can i spray something in there, or does it come apart at all? |

I had that problem on the Emerald Isle trip, sometimes tit took several minutes to get the key in. Just fill the lock with WD40 or equivalent & work the key in & out Works a treat |

I thought you are not supposed to use WD40 for things like that. it can act like an abrasive if there is any dirt in there and make the problem worse. |
