Bezel (plastic
) broke on one and nearly lost the glass. I remembered the recall thing, checked with DG20 and, sure enough, recall headlamps on my 04MY Firebolt. Parts ordered, 'will call you as soon as parts arrive to arrange fitting'. Silence. For 4 weeks.
I called in to enquire while passing on Saturday, and basically received a shrug of the shoulders and 'they must have run out at the factory'. No idea when I could expect delivery and apparently nothing to be done to speed up the process. Is this normal for Buell bits through official channels? And how long must I expect to wait for something as basic as this? I seem to remember Nuttah had his done. Did it take this long?
Oh, and while I'm on; I've seen some mirrors on a website, and an exhaust, and a belt tensioner, a carbon fibre airbox cover, bar end weights, muller clutch thingy, headers, 240 rear tyre and a partridge in a pear tree. Any good?
