There used to be a few on the market for an X1 from Ermax and a few other small Buell specialists in Europe. Unfortunately as far as I know almost all of these have been discontinued now.

The only one left that we can still get is the RRC tail tidy pictured below.

Price for this piece is £134.60 inc VAT and you can order them here http://www.trojan-horse.co.uk/prods/417.html

We only get them in to order so this can take 3-4 weeks I'm afraid.

You may still be able to find one of the discontinued items on Ebay of course.

:yt: Both of my complete X1s have then knocked up from some ally plate I had knocking around. Costs nowt except a couple of hours of your time. You can relocate your seat lock somewhere out of sight too.

If you're going to do some metal battering, do it on a bag of wet sand ;)

don't confuse the lad Adam, it'll take the heat out the plate ;)

I've just got access to the local FE College fabrication workshop and it would make you cry if you went around. They've got a huge surface plate table, that some little scrote has been stick welding on :x and various other bits of quality gear that's been mindlessly played with - usually smacked with a hammer  - etc, etc.
They've also got an English wheel and unlimited sheet steel to play with, I had to tell two Lecturers what it was for and show another one how to use it. What a lovely bit of kit it is 8-) I've always wanted one of those 8-) :geek:

It really does worry me about where this Country is going to get its next generation of Engineers from; proper ones, that can use their brain and are able to fabricate stuff as well.
God bless Fred Dibnah 8-)

Scraping, now there's another lost art. My Dad would never chuck away an old file (ended up with a drawer full of them lOl  ) incase he needed to make a new scraper. How many people can still carry out the art of it? Not many, I suspect
