 Post subject: Horizontal shock?

Just read that the new ZX-10R is going to "defy convention" by having a horizontal rear shock.... Hasn't Buell been doing that for a while....?

my Yamaha RD500LC had a horizontal shock and that was in 1985 :D

So had my XT250 even earlier than that, although it was fitted under the seat ;)

Nothing really new then; has that new Kawa side-valves and carbide-headlight as well by any chance?

BUT the Buell one works in extension , not compression.
