What I have done in the past, is to polsh up the tank, then cover the front faces with fablon, it lasts well, and keeps the tank looking good, when it gets tatty, pull off and re-polish to remove all glue and re-cover. ![]() |

That oil tank gets pretty hot ,that's why i was thinking of some heat resistant stuff With that AST shock fitted i removed a bit more of my chicken strip today ![]() |

I cut and shaped an old rubber/plastic bin and attached that when I had my M1, the curved shape of the bin fit a treat and it did the job really well. Will see if I still have the pics |
