What's the rough cost of a 5k service @ bb and a set of new rubber? Mine will be due in December / January.

That's because we didn't want to risk spoiling the delicate pastel shades on your exhaust. lOl

Jill, I'll look into that price because I'm sure you will qualify for a winter warmer

Larigos, let me know your model and the tyres you would like and I'll PM you a price, won't be until Tuesday though.

Steve

Tyres never really been fussy - the only time I changed tyres I went for pilot road 2's as they had £50 off for the pair and cheaper than any other "branded ones". My bike is an xb12ss 09 all stock apart from a grease nipple thing from maz when he did the 2.5k service. It would be late December/January when it's needs servicing being in the know now means I can save a few pennies before hand.

Strikes me as a very strange attitude that.......at best you could learn something about the machine you trust with your life, at worst you could see how your hard earnt was being spent.
The point is though, surely it would be good to have the option to watch if you wanted to ?.......most workshops give you the bullshit about customers not being insured......to me that says they've either got something to hide or are not supremely confident re. the ability of their staff

Obviously, non of the above applies to BB :)

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing with a lot of people, me included!

I watched Tubbs do my 5K service ... didn't have a clue what he was doing, even though he explained everything in detail as he went along ... I just scratched my head a lot!
