Ha, someone has bid... The wise man would have paid the Buy It Now price...

It was not so long ago that yourguitarhero could not buy a white front mudguard for love nor money, yet here is a full set of white plastics...

Bet they go for more than the BIN price....

Whilst we are at it, anyone want to buy a brand new white 1125CR flyscreen?

You're supposed to notify DVLA of any changes to the vehicle, so it would be a pain to have to keep telling them that you've changed the colour ... ;)

I actually know of someone who had their bike impounded by the police for this, took him nearly a month to get it back.

Tell me more, Maz.....
I have two sets of bodywork for my M2...very different colours and I have tried in vain to get some sense out of DVLA, my insurers and the Police about the implications of having the same bike but in different colours on different days.
If it's registered on the V5 as red, will I be stopped by the ANPR rozzers if it's black that day?
If (God forbid) I make an insurance claim, would Auntie Carole say "Oh no Sir, we didn't insure a black bike"....
NONE OF THEM had a sensible answer... most asked me WHY I would want to do it  Carole Nash said it 'shouldn't (hahahaha) be a problem but the set not being used wouldn't be covered' ... local police would not comment  .... DVLA wanted pictures and a signed statement
But precedents have been set... the (Un)Smart car has interchangeable bodywork and the latest Ducati Monster is actually marketed with the idea of buying an alternative set of clothes...
I've decided to register a 'Change of Colour' with DVLA stating in the boxes (yes, there IS room) 'Black AND Red' and see if they accept it or throw it back....
I'll let you know.

Surely that should be 'Black OR Red depending on the day of the week'

I've had log books in the past that have got "Not Specified" in the box for Colour.

Maybe send the V5 off for a change of colour to "Not Specified". ;)

You can't do that! You'll get confused which one is your bike at the parking bay

Just to clarify, you do need to inform DVLA of changes to your vehicle, including colour !
