Good scrub with a good quality bike cleaner and then spray with silicon spray
it'll come up like new 
..........s100 engine brightener works very well but it is just an expensive way of buying silicon spray.

The black finish on my X1 engine is looking greyish and dirty. Any ideas on how to get them looking good again? I use wd-40, which works for a short while, anybody found something better? Thanks, John |

clean it, de-grease it, spray it with BBQ black paint |

PJ1 satin black Petrol proof too. BBQ paint aint   Uploaded with ImageShack.us Head in PJ1 satin black and barrels in PJ1 silver

spray alttle acf50 on to cases and rub with shoe polish brush(clean one) and use toothbrush to get into smaller areas.also works for rear belt spocket. |
