That's nowt. I called in the Ducati dealer on the way home tonight to buy a crank turning tool so I could fit some new belts. The greedy fekers wanted over £60 for one.
It took me 1/2 hour in the shed, incl brew + smoke, to knock one up from an old socket and a big nut.

Hi Adam, what Ducati do you have? I didn't need any tool when doing the belts on the monster, just set it up then lock the cams to the cases.

Hi Adam, what Ducati do you have? I didn't need any tool when doing the belts on the monster, just set it up then lock the cams to the cases.



It's for turning the end of the crank, to line the marks up. Easier than turning the wheel with it in gear. A lot less hassle when checking valve clearances too.
