Try SRM in N.Wales, they do a postal service. Despite once having feked up a crank regrind for me, I believe they're no longer so slack and do a pretty good job these days 8-)
Ask them about upgraded big end bolts, I put some in a Unit T500 TriBsa that was going to be scrambled. I think they're adapted Beesa A7 ones.

I've heard some horror stories about SRM lately, that's why I thought I'd go to Basset, as they have been recommended.
Didn't they (SRM) used to be Devimead ?

Yep, I think the Devimead connection is right. Seems like the quality of workmanship hasn't improved much. My crank journals arrived back oval and the shoulders seemed to be stepped where they should be radiused. Had them metal sprayed back to standard size eventually.
Ended up fitting a 350 top end and rods but kept the 500 crank. The motor turned out to be a revvy as fek 400cc :yup:

My mate's crank looked like a swiss cheese. Must have been training day!

I snapped a 650 Bonnie crank once due to a non radiused regrind. Out of balance carbs at full chat was enough to do it. :oooops:

I'll let Basset Down do it.
I'll let you know the result. :yup:
