I need to fit a new front brake light switch to a 2004 XB12R. I really am pretty useless when it comes to things mechanical/technical....is it a job I can manage, and how do I get at it. Do I need to take the engine out (only joking)

Assuming it to be the same as my 03 Lightning, the switch is underneath front brake master cylinder assembly and is held on with a screw. Remove the screw and disconnect the wires and voila. In time honoured Haynes manual fashion, to re-assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure. |
