Handy Tip #1 - The front bolts from the rear footpeg hangers are exactly the same as the ones holding the front brake caliper on.

Handy Tip #2 - You won't need Handy Tip #1 if you make sure to retorque your brake caliper after changing the front wheel, and double check it after each of the first few trips :oooops: :oooops: :ill: :ill:

It got me home in one piece. As I don't have easy access to new bolts, can anyone tell me if the bolts are completely the same, or do I urgently need to get the proper bolts in there :?: :?:

I don't need the rear hanger bolts, cos I've taken the rear hangers off.

i would get the proper bolts. dont know what spec they would be, but i would not rely on rear hanger bolts in an emergency stop, or maybe hard braking even

 I have two sets of wheels. One for track days, one for commuting. I think I'll swap em over a week before the track day. I'd rather discover one's come loose decellerating from 80 kph at the traffic lights than from 220 kph going into turn 1 :ill:

You are slipping Maz, thought you would have mentioned your handy XB 'Tip' just outside.
