Post subject:  Which ULY screen?

Hi everyone, I'm new to group, I've got an 06 Uly that is more or less standard. I find the windblast a bit much at motorway speeds. I was wondering if the taller screen from the XT makes much of a difference. I love the clean look of the bike and I don't want to spoil it with a big hideous screen.
Thanks, McUly.

Still aint bomb proof ok up to 60-70 i guess better but still get some unless you are a short ar$e that would help but then you couldn`t reach the floor :headbang: .

I have the zero gravity screen fitted. I now find the wind hits me around the head as opposed to the chest area with the standard screen. Having traded in a yamaha xjr for my Ully any screen is an improvement. The dark zero gravity screen looks much better. By the way I roughly 5'10".

Thanks for that,

I am an amazing 5'6.5'' so it's a toss up between the ZERO GRAVITY and the TALL ULYSSES screens. Zero gravity in smoke looks the business but I think the TALL ULYSSES is a shake higher and has a slight lip on the top which might deflect the wind upwards. Might toss a coin.

McUly.

Short house :D......

I'm an extremely magnificent 6ft 3" and find the standard screen just right. At high speeds* the wind blast gently teases across my magnificent broad chest and shoulders, with no helmet buffeting or excessive noise...

Weird.

I'm 5' 10" 3/4 (aged 29 1/12th) and have an STT that has no screen apart from the standard flyscreen and have never found the windblast a bother.

I sit on it and make vroom vroom noises and get my pet cat Meatball to blow on me to simulate* the visceral windblast one experiences at 125 mph on a naked bike.

* simulation may not be entirely accurate.
