So, perhaps Erik was right with the fuel in frame models, it certainly heats the petrol up !

I read the other day that 2-strokes are the future of the petrol engine :P

A modern Mondeo Diesel estate with the whole family, dogs and luggage in it does over 60mpg when used moderately; even the 2 litre petrol version will return nearly 55. So what's the great news here? Maybe it's because the article uses the Prius as the standard, which struggles to reach 40 mpg on the motorway and with two engines and a huge battery pack putting more strain on our planet's resources than any other mid-size car you can buy today. :roll:
