I have a 1125r had it for a few months but have never had it running very smooth , i have changed the plugs oil, filter , air filter and cleaned the injectors , ticks over at around 1500 .
on a run its all or nothing open it up and it has loads of power but as you close the throttle to change gear and open it again nothing then it will come back but very rough ,like no fuel is getting though the bike has a race pipe and a race ecm but im thinking of getting a standard ecm ans see if it will run better.i have thought it could be a fuel pressure problem but have no idea how to check this

Do you have a copy of ECMSpy and a cable? I'm no expert (although the past few months have given me some experience of this), but it would be interesting to look at the fuel and timing maps, and see if there are any faults logged in the ECM.

I do have a cable and a copy of ecm spy that Pash gave me but its for the X1 i did not think it would work on the 1125 but will give it a go ,it has to be a fueling problem as the power comes in surges

What version of ECM Spy do you have, and what year is the bike? I think you definitely need the new ECM Spy (for Mono) for bikes 2008 and newer?

A donation for a good cause is never lost.

Nick is a total Star and helped me all the way as im a total dullard when it comes to installing stuff .
funny thing though today i removed the air box and found the tic over picked up so i thought what the hell and took it out for a ride , and although the induction was quite loud it was a lot smoother and no flat spots ??, it makes me think the race ecm has been mucked about with ,so im now looking at getting a standard one

Sounds like your current mapping is too rich, your air filter is very dirty or the air box is restricting the air flow. How does it run with the air box on but no filter fitted?

I fear for Mr Gunters back as his shoulders carry my weight...

Happy to help, managed to fit it in break time during a design review with the worlds largest aircraft manufacturer... :run:

Normal service resumed from Friday :P

I assume the Solonoid has already been bypassed/binned/disconnected, it has been known cause issues if left contected, activating when it shouldn't be giving similar symptoms to above.
