I've seen some lower footrests and need extra legroom on my Uly. Got the Tall seat already.

The ones I've seen are listed for XB12S; is the bracket width and mounting pin diameter the same?

Barney,

Thanks for that, but what does “if and big” mean?

Uly pegs are 1” lower than other models already, back in the day CBR600 and VFR Honda owners used them as lower pegs apparently.

You say 'Busa ones fit? Maybe there's a Busa lowering kit we could use.

I’ve just bought another tall seat to get that raised and reprofiled to help. I’m 6' 6”.

I made my own bar risers using tube sections, longer bolts and a second bar clamp upside down, added 30mm height without needing new brake lines or cables.

the if and big refer to my age and memory
If I recall correctly :old: there was someone whom had used differnt pegs
big if I recall correctly :old: think it was suzuki Busa but not 100% sure .
just did a google and
https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/17046862763
so looks like common item on a few bikes .
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/234503339218 ... R8T-sragYg
be nice to find someone who has used them and what results they got .
do a search on here or bad web

B,

The second eBay link is similar to the one I found listed for XB12S.

40mm drop is only 15mm on a Uly (since standard pegs are 25mm drop already).

I have found similar adjustable versions with up to (down to?) 50mm drop, 25mm extra. They dontlook strong enough to stand on though.

Thinking backwards (a particular skill of mine!) if Uly pegs fit VFRs, this might work to lower my existing pegs. When fitting Uly to VFR you have to sleeve the Honda pin, so might have to drill the bracket.

There are very expensive Knight pegs with 2” drop, but I’m cheap!

The search continues.

them VFR brackets might be the way to go , as long as all the uly parts remain standard size so easy to go back ,if it don't work .
also need to watch out how low you go ,could run into ground clearance problems .

Ground clearance not an issue - I'm Captain Slow!

I guess if they don't work I can get 50% back on eBay or a VFR Forum!
