Yes, the disc carrier I call a bell. (Cheers rik

Ah I see, I didn't know what Buell bells are made of.
Isn't the Buell caliper mounted to a mounting block, which is then mounted to the fork leg? As in the pictures you posted, so you already have the weight of that anyway.
You would have to make it for a radial mounted caliper, as opposed to a lug mount. I think the radial mount is much tidier anyway.
Of course it would all cost, but when has modding anything been cheap.
I don't have a price list for AP, I only know what I paid for my specific parts, but I know there where other calipers which where less than £300 a pop, they are 4 piston formula car calipers. I doubt the bike stuff would be more.
It would be an interesting project, but I'm sure someone is already making kits.
http://www.twinmotorcycles.nl/webshop/a ... _1999-2001Although I'm not too sure of the "wavey disc" thing?
What's the purpose of that?
I recon you could be looking at up to £1,500+ VAT for a bespoke set up including calipers, brackets, bells, discs, pads, and mounting hardware (Disc bobbins & ht bolts) Then you may need to look at the master cylinder, depending on the caliper piston area.
But of course you could keep the standard bells and discs which would save you around £500 on a bespoke kit.
