So if there is a ticking noise coming from the top of each cylinder head, it could very likely be caused by a lack of oil due to failed pump drive gear? Is that right? As mine is ticking, and now I am too paranoid to ride it... Is there a downloadable manual someone could direct me to so I know how to remove the oil pump to check? I am fine mechanically, so long as someone has shown me what to do or I have a Haynes manual. But I wouldn't like to just go at it...
