Disconnect the wire from the neutral light switch and earth it on the engine to see if the light then works .... if it does either the switch is fucked or the bikes in gear ........and if the light does come on then see if starter works .....................also check the diodes are ok in the fuse box (I assume XB's have them like the X1 does.
