We don't know if that is the problem yet.

Well thank you very much to pash, who kindly helped me out with a cable, and plenty of his time over the phone this evening to help me through some things.
I have now completed the tps reset, and am waiting for the engine to warm up just to set the idle to between 1050 and 1150 rpm. then a quick test ride.
There was a historic error code showing that read, trouble code 11, tps short to ground.
Im hoping that as it is historic rather than current, that it got wet and shorted, rather than a chafed wire??

now im going to look into the AFV as i read that that should be between 90-110% but is reading about 116%...
:D

wont be long before im a ecmspy wizz! 8-)

that or i f the bike up...

If your TPS was out, your AFV would end up out too... If there was a short to earth, no problem cos you could find the chaffing and put some heatshrink on it. Saying that, if it is an intermittent fault it could be your ragged running.

May be worth looking at the live data and seeing if the measured TPS smooth when you open the throttle slowly.

The advice is registering as 116%, but on the functions box I think in the diagnostics tab, it says 100% so not sure there really. Will run it to work early tomorrow, then plug in again and check for any further error codes. Thanks pash.
